Senior Product Manager

Forbes Travel Guide is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager for our web-based evaluation, reporting and vendor platforms. The role will be responsible for end-to-end product management, from conceptualization to launch, as well as ongoing maintenance and enhancement of products.

FTG is the global authority on hospitality excellence. Known for our prestigious annual Star Ratings — awarded to hotels, restaurants, spas and cruise ships in more than 80 countries — we also provide professional services, such as training, custom standards, inspections, verification programs and consulting for luxury hospitality and other businesses that prioritize guest/customer experience.

This role will focus on FTG’s B2B product initiatives — including a new vendor platform and our proprietary B2B reporting system — with occasional tasks related to FTG’s consumer-facing presence.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features, create timelines and ensure product quality
  • Help launch and oversee a new vendor store platform; manage the daily product pipeline and deliverables for FTG’s digital evaluation, reporting and training platforms. Maintain product roadmaps and backlogs.
  • Gather and analyze market research, customer feedback and other relevant data to identify market trends, user needs and opportunities to enhance products
  • Contribute to the product vision, strategy and roadmap for FTG’s digital products
  • Track and analyze product metrics and continually iterate on product features to improve user satisfaction. Own and solve product issues.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop product positioning and messaging and to identify opportunities for customer acquisition and retention

Skills Required

  • Content Creation:

  • T&E Expense Review: Review and process travel and entertainment expenses in Expensify (expense management software) for domestic and international employees. Ensure the claims for reimbursement are within company guidelines and correctly submitted/allocated to correct categories and cost codes.
  • Invoicing: Generate customer invoices in an accurate and timely manner in our accounting system, Microsoft Business Central.
  • Accounts Receivable: Issue monthly statements and contact customers for past-due collections.
